I got a piece of junkmail today from Unicef. It included a (freshly minted) nickel and the tagline "This nickel could save a child's life!" Then why did you send it to me?? I gave to them (and the Red Cross) after the tsunami, but in general they kind of scare me because they place so much emphasis on increasing survival rates and so little emphasis on improving quality of life. There are other charities I'd rather give to.
Rotation presentations were moved to next Friday, phew. And yay for actually doing wet lab stuff in this rotation instead of more DNA sequence alignment like my last two.
