This is two years old, but I found it last night. I periodically wonder why I can't connect the internet directly to my brain yet, and so I was searching for brain-computer interfaces.

What's funny is that the most exciting thought I had regarding this is that once (if) it works in real time, it could save me a lot of throat pain when I have to teach for extended periods. Just connect this to my laptop and plug the laptop into the classroom speaker system, all set.
That and it's an awesome way to interact hands-free with a smartphone without looking like a schizophrenic. Not that I have plans to get a smartphone before non-smartphones cease to exist.
