One last thing: Jabba

As I found myself watching Star Wars repeatedly, I started to wonder why the computer-animated Jabba the Hutt in New Hope looked so bad. They changed stuff in the 2004 DVD release of Return of the Jedi, most obviously (to me) the addition of Hayden Christensen playing Anakin's force-ghost in the end, so why couldn't they fix up Jabba? I did some research online... OH, THEY DID.

The 2004 version of Jabba is pretty bad.

The 1997 version of Jabba is an academic exercise in suck.

In neither case does it really make sense for Han to step on his tail.
